I am trying to list an item under "Sporting Goods" and the category won't load. I looked up the category number, tried to use that and get "error running this page" and the number disappears. Please help.
For some reason that sports category tends to cause problems specifically over AOL connections.
If you are unable to load the category page still, or the progress bar is halted, please try pressing the ctrl+F5 buttons (simultaneously) on your keyboard (you may have to try this a few times). This will force a refresh of the page, and may help with the category loading.
If it continues to be a problem, let us know which category your trying to list to and we'll select it for you so you can use the previously listed category option to get this item going.

Hi Christopher,
I pushed ctrl+f5 till my "wittle" fingers were sore, but no luck. I am trying for category 11143. Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Jane
Click to create a new listing and you will see this category to choose from in your list of recently selected categories. As long as you see the number in that field, click the continue to move on to the next page where you can complete the listing.

Can you send this to engineering since you know there has been a problem and see if they can come up with a solution, please?
thanks,
Jane

Hello Jane,
One last thing you can try also with either browser, click to create a new listing, then apply the profile labeled 'category 11143' - then click continue.
This should get you to the next page without error.

Putting in the category number won't work. I get the error message and no matter whether I click on yes or no or the X, I get sent back to the blank category page.

Success. I have no idea what a Mozilla is - I am the typical older person who wants to turn on the computer, go to Vendio and have it work easily. However, I went to Internet Explorer and that worked. I will keep a blank fishing auction in pending in case I need it again. Interestingly enough, it put the auction in pending twice. Go figure! Thanks for your help.
