I received a voice mail from ebay stating that in the near future I must specify shipping charges aaaaaand a return policy or I will not be able to list. I figured out the shipping part, but I cannot get the return policy. I have to revise each auction to check ebay's box. Is there abetter way???

Hello,

When I checked your account you did already have a default return policy setup for your listings:
eBay site specifics

When posting your ads from the Sales Manager, this same field exists. When you create something from scratch using the Sales Manager your default settings will fill this in automatically, however when you relist older items prior to having the return policy you will need to edit them to add it (prior to relist. )

Chris

Hi,
Just did a test auction using sales manager pro and the listing stated "no return policy specified" It does not appear to be transfering to the listing even though I have it in my ebay specifics. ??

Christopher,
If I understand correctly you want us to change by hand all saved auctions in the Inventory. I really hope I completely misunderstood your response.

I have 800 items on this account and another 500 in all other Vendio accounts. I know some Vendio users have thousands of auctions.

There must be a way to globally change the "return policy" setting for all existing items.

Thanks,
Jack

Hi Christopher,

I have to admit I am with Jack on this one. I have a few of thousand to change (over 70 pages). While doable, it would be nice to see something global - it is painful sometimes to wait for 50 items to load and then save over and over!

Hello,

The idea is that you could, if you wanted, have a unique return policy depending on the item. Certain electronics or types of software would likely have a different return policy than other goods. Having said that I can certainly see the advantage of being able to say X is your return policy and you just want to use it on all items.

We will pass along a suggestion to make the default optionally apply to all listings, regardless of how they are setup on the item level.

Regards,
Chris
