I am finding the numbers in the "active" panel and forcing move to "Closed" by doing a refresh - but they did not move when the item was sold (all to same buyer).

Hello,

That is the best way to force items that are seemingly stuck in the active section, especially if they just closed and we simply haven't yet received the notification via the eBay IPN to drop them into the closed section automatically.
