For 4 days I've not been able to relist or list due to a message returned from the scheduler while attempting to list my auction:
"Error 212: Invalid User ID. The User ID you entered is either merged or suspended or the account is closed. There is no suspension, account is active and I'm not sure what merged means. I've over 12 new listings pending that kick out because of this error message. I've used the same User ID for 4 years now and have not had a single problem until now. Can you tell me what I need to do to resolve this?

Good morning zoe58,

The error which you are experiencing is being returned by eBay. Have you logged into your eBay account to verify that everything is fine on your account?

I contacted eBay Customer Service on 6/25 and received an email stating everything was ok. Account is active, currently paid. I've also sent several other requests to C/s eBay stating problem isn't fixed yet and haven't had a response. I'm really getting frustrated.

I tried to use Yahoo to sell until the problem I thought was w/eBay was fixed but I got the same error message with Yahoo and I went thru Vendio.

Please advise what I can do to clear this up.

zoe58,

Next what I would suggest is to log into your Vendio Account. Go to My Account -> Auction Site Accounts and re-enter the username, email address and password for eBay to verify that all the information you have listed is correct. I also suggest that you log into you eBay account and just take a look to make sure all is well. Let me know after you have done this. We can try a test auction to see if the error then goes away.

I've did it and I noticed that my userid was zoe/58 on eBay which it has been for the last 4 years and it was zoe58 on all my auctions and account status. I changed it to zoe58 and I tried to relist an auction and it worked. Thank you so much.

I also rechecked Yahoo and nothing was wrong w/that one so I don't know why it kicked out as userid is ok.

Thank you so much for your help. eBay Customer Service could take some tips from you on how to service a customer. Thank U Berry Much! AZ Strawberrylady
