Hi Guys

First off all : I am new to Vendio, I use it now for listing auctions on ebay and for image hosting. I like it.

I would also like to swich from the ebay selling manager pro to the postale tools of Vendio.

Items that are sold (last night) are NOT yet in my VENDIO postsale (awayting payment or WNB).

So I have allready send an invoice out with my good old selling manager from... EBAY...

How is this possible ?

Thanks in advance for your reactions...

Hello,

Did your end of auction notices from eBay go out right after the auctions ended? If there is ever a delay with that, it can cause a delay with items moving from Active to Closed.

Sonya

Hi Sonya

Thank you for your reply, I appreciate this fast service !

I have had two items sold in my ebay store - not listed as auctions but as store items.

Do this - listed store items - do not appear in dthe Vendio post sale ? Or must I set some preferences or so ?

thank you !
Erwin

Hi Erwin,

eBay Store items will appear in Vendio post sale. There is a chance they may take slightly longer than auction items to move from active to closed (this is common with fixed price items). If you select all items in Active and click 'Refresh' you can refresh your active auctions list to get any store items that might be closed to move downward.

Regards,

Sonya

Hi Sonya

Thanks for the tip - I refreched the active items (= inc. store inventory)and the sold items appeared !

But...

The customer had allready payed by paypal (thanks to the ebay selling manager) , and the items are allready shipped !

That means that the ebay tool is a lot faster then Vendio post sales management !

The items where allready shipped before I have gotton, with an extra manual action, a message from Vendio

Thats not good !

Can Vendio speed up his post sale management ?

thanks
Erwin

I noticed today that my customers have already paid via Paypal and that is not updated in Vendio. It was my understanding that their was and update link to Paypal in the Vendio Post management. I did see the update yesterday when a customer paid and the blue boxes were checked off automatically. I am also concerned that there is too much of a delay in the updating of the payments. I also had to manually send the WBN from Vendio as they just didn't get sent after several hours delay.

Hello,

Breerke -- Vendio Checkout does not synchronize up with eBay Selling Manager. If you have customers checking out that way, you will need to manually update your Vendio post sale with steps that have been completed. One thing that may help you is if you enable the PayPal IPN. Please visit this page for more information.

Greengate -- you have Checkout Redirect turned on, so there is always going to be a half hour delay before the WBN goes out. If your winner does not go through to checkout within the first 30 mins an item has ended, the WBN should go out automatically. Post Sale updates automatically when a payment has been made and you've got the IPN enabled. How long of a delay do you seem to be experiencing?

Sonya

Hi Sonya,
I just went ahead and updated the Vendio Checkout manually after down loading a hard copy of the PayPal payments. Once that was done I just processed my orders. I believe I waited at least an hour before I manually updated. I do like the idea of the connection to PayPal. I suspect it was PayPal that delayed the processing as it was running slow for me this afternoon. For some reason problems always seem to come up in the pre holiday sales period over the past few years. Hopefully this year we won't get bogged down with upgrades right before Christmas.
Thanks for your response.

Hi Greengate,

Thank you for your response. PayPal had some issues early last week so you may have noticed slow updates from them last week. I know that the issues had been posted on the eBay announcements board if you need to get an exact time frame.

Please let us know if you need additional help with anything.

Regards,

Sonya
