Please can you help?

I was looking to do a relist from an archived auction thru the "completed listings" ...."looking for recently deleted or archived" link... and I see I only have 63 deleted/archived items which date back to Oct. 15th.

Just a few days ago.. I had over 200 maybe even 300 deleted items in those pages I could have "restored". What happened to all the item items? Did vendio change something? I used this feature/function ALOT!

The close date I am looking for is an item that ended Sept 10th 2005. Specific item number was 4403433888 ... I would like to put the same bowls up for auction again.. using the same listing.. can you help? Thanks so much, DEB

Hi there,

You have your account set to auto-archive items after 12 weeks. The restore function will allow you to restore auction data that has been archived, but for only a limited time after it is archived (generally 2 weeks only).

If you find that you are relaunching auctions from your archive restore or closed listings frequently, or you might want to save your auctions to Inventory as you list them. This will save a copy of the auction which can then be relaunched at any time. Note that by using Inventory, you will be able to organize your listings in separate folders which will allow for greater efficiency and ease of use. You can also easily list a single inventory item to any venue, which will save time if you are using multiple venues.

If you want to copy a particular closed item to your inventory for future relist, follow these steps:
1) Go to the 'Closed' section of control panel
2) Select the item you wish to copy, and click the 'relist' button
3) Click on the 'edit' link next to the selected item
4) Scroll to the bottom of the item listing, click the box next to 'save this item in my inventory', then click the 'save' button
5) Cancel relist if you wish to just save and not relist the auction

Note that the listing will be saved into the "unfiled" folder.

You may also disable auto-archive under clicking My Account -> Global Preferences.

Best regards,

Diana
