Using any of your software, how can I make bulk changes. For example, In mid Feb, I will have 500+ items in Inventory. They will all be 3 day auctions. on Feb 26 or so, I will want to change all of them from 3 day to 7 day auctions. Is there a fast way of doing this, or do I have to go in and change one item at a time for all 500 items.
Also, when I am creating the item, if I put in that I have 7, will it creat a Dutch Auction or will it just put one up and put 6 in Inventory?
Can you confirm if you are using Sales Manager online, or if you are using the program Sales Manager Pro? I want to be clear before giving you any instructions.
Online is working through www.vendio.com using the Sales Manager section. Offline is when you are working with our program, Sales Manager Pro, that has to be downloaded from online. Sorry I wasn't more clear!

Well, which would be easier to make and track 500 to 1000 items, update numbers of each (so when I get 5 more of this pin, I can update my inventory to show that I now have 5 more). Then after the games, I will need to update from 3 day auctions to 7 day auctions for the remaining inventory.

you know what, I had better start from the Beginning. I am going to the Olympics in Torino. I am going to trade of Olympic pins while I am there. I am going to have people with me to set up the auctions and run them. Generally I make about 100 to 150 trades a day for maybe 75 different designs. I'll get 1 of this, 5 of that... The next day I may get 5 more of this and none of that. Each day we are going to create and list maybe 50 to 75 auctions. Throw in Second chance offers for those items that sell for a good price that I have extra. Then, toward the end of the Olympics, I will want to change all of the items in my inventory from 3 days to 7 days. We are going to have high speed internet in the apartment we are renting... Generally, I put one picture with each auction and have that picture as a galary image.
Given all of this, what would you suggest? Should we use the offline software? If so, which one would be best? Should we use the online software? Given the number of auctions we are going to run over the 4 to 6 week period of the games to the middle of March, I figure the best would be to pay the 39.95 plus $.10. I am guessing that most items will sell between $10 and $20. with some going for $5, and some going for $150.

Hello Dejapooh,
I would recommend that you change from Sales Manager Merchandising Edition to Inventory Edition. Given what you are planning to do (that sounds pretty cool, by the way), it may be easiest for you to be on SMIE because it's inventory based and it's easy to do changes in bulk. With Inventory Edition, you can select a bunch of items in inventory and bulk edit them.
I think the plan that you are thinking of is going to be pretty good for you.

Thanks a ton. My biggest wish is that Vendio would support Second Chance Offers. It is going to make things very difficult to keep track of everything when I sell some stuff on Ebay and vendio doesn't support it.

Could you give me a possible date? I REALLLY need it next month... I've been investigating some software packages, but if you had that, I would use it forever... PLEASE... any idea when? I won't hold you to it.
Currently the projected date is closer to the first week of March, but this could happen sooner. It just depends on how the rest of the testing project goes and if there are any issues with some of the other changes being made currently.
