It's 5:00PM do you know where package or check is?
If it isn't in your mailbox and it's late, it quite possibly is in some else's. I work for a rather big company. Every morning, one of the guys in the mailroom heads for same post office I ship from each day--none lost yet . In the back of the post office is a large bin with the company name right on it where my mailroom colleague retrieves the day's mail. Needless to say we get a lot of it.
Well most days, the mailroom fills a whole postal basket of mail that is not ours and that needs to be returned and rerouted. Mind you, the mail clerks fill our company mail bin daily and certainly can tell if it is ours or not.
