Does anyone know an alternative to Bidpay, for amounts over $500- and possibly is not auction related? I'm stuck. My bank charged me $30. to receive an international wire transfer and am trying to find a better way for future transactions. The country, specifically, is the UK. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated!
Personally, since I no longer accept Paypal or any CC payments, I do ask for an INTERNATIONAL U.S. Funds Postal Money Order. I have sold quite a bit to Japan and Canada, and never have had a problem...and NO charge to cash them. With changes to Canadian Mail, better enquire first at your Post Office.
******** Gosh Shosh!

I believe that Paypal will allow non-auction payments to be made. I like using Paypal because it is so easy for me (in the UK) to make payments for auctions (from the US).

This buyer wanted to send the $ electronically, and did not want to use the mail for payment. I agree with you- so far, the International Postal Money Order seems the best way.
Mivona, I'm nervous about using Paypal, from reading others experiences on these boards... but I'm glad it works for you! Thanks for the suggestion though!
