Hi all, remember when the dang Furbies were so hard to get a couple of years ago? Well it's that time of year again, what's gonna be the hot toy(s) of the year? Thought this might be a fun discussion since things aren't so "happy" right now around here.

A "Meg" doll maybe.....

complete with LARGE hat pins for fun!!!

They could even be labeled "AFA", "checkout", "Billpoint", etc for specific frustrations!

Probably sell a bunch of those.....course they would have to be listed on Yahoo to keep from getting shut down!!!

I made a killing on those furbies!!! Last year it was the playstation 2 and the diva starz doll was in demand somewhat....but this year I'm not hearing anything!! The nintendo cube and the xbox might be hot but I wouldn't bank on it!!!!!

Xbox and Harry Potter will be hot. Game cube will not. Rumble bots could be the dark horse...

I also made a killing on Furby. I picked him out as THE toy for Xmas when I was at FAO Schwarz in Oct and 9 of 10 requests was Furby. I kept my eyes open and bought all I could. I pre-ordered at KB and while picking mine up, heard another KB had 800 that day. I sent my Mom who went through the line several times. And I went by after work. It was a lot of fun!

Last year was PS2 but you couldn't find them. I got one on release day and was not able to find another until Jan or Feb.

We need something that can be found occasionally now but will be impossible at Xmas.
