I know I have done this before but I can't figure it out this time. When I click on Send Bidder a Payment Reminder in the Get Final Value Fee Credit area, it takes me to My Ebay but I don't see any way on there to send the reminder. There is something at the bottom of the screen but it takes you right back to the Final Value Fee Credit area. Help!

stormypetr - follow these steps

1. Go to the "selling" tab in My eBay

2. At the bottom under "selling related links", and under the heading "trust and safety", click on "non-paying bidder program".

3. Scroll down and click on step #2, which is "Payment Reminder".

good luck!

What happened to the Payment Reminder you could send after 3 days? (the ebay-initiated reminder you could send...you found it on list of items sold...now it has "checkout".

Is there anyway to send a reminder like that now before going through the non-paying bidder program?

KatNap - The steps above take you to the 3-day payment reminder that you are asking about. It is step #2 in the NPB process, but it does NOT file for NPB, that is step #3. So you are still using the same 3-day eBay initiated reminder, but it does not start the NPB process, unless you progress after that to step #3.... Follow the steps above and check the list of steps...

Does that make sense?

Yes, perfectly! Thank you... it was easier the other way though

I have tried clicking on #3, and all it does is take me back to My eBay, what am I doing wrong?

Yep... Leave it to eBay to continually make things more complicated and confusing, eh?

amber... If you mean step #3, the NPB form, I just tried clicking on step #3, and it took me to sign in page to sign in again, so I did and then I got the NPB form page. I'm not sure why it wouldn't work for you... Did you start from the seller tab/trust & safety/Non-paying bidder program?

This is ridiculous.
You know the winner's email address. Just send him an email!

Julibee, that is exactly the way I have been doing it and all it does is take me right back to My Ebay. Its a circle! Try it yourself and see if you can figure it out.

As for sending the bidder an email, of course I have done that. But Ebay sending them an email telling them they need to pay holds more weight than me doing it. Plus, if several people file them, they will suspend the id.

I've been having the same problems with sending Payment Reminders -- click through all the links and still end up at My eBay.

Still, using the eBay Payment Reminder was only to stick with the process. In all cases I'd already sent multiple emails and given plenty of time. NPB warnings still work, so I went to that. We'll see what happens.

Yes, it still keeps taking me back to My eBay, and yes, I have sent 4 emails. I find that a reminder from eBay often does the trick, I prefer to do that first before send a NPB form.

I was thinking the same thing. I have about a dozen "cut and paste" notices in my notepad the only require an amount and item # to be plugged in. I don't depend on ebay's convoluted system to do my emailing for me. (Filing for fees is another story...)
