Does any one out there use the webtv plus and the escanner to get an auction going? If so, I really need some help....I'm hitting one brick wall after another. I was told by eBay to go to AW and when I did the only told me they did fully support webtv because of javascript and whatever. I feel like a hamster running in his wheel and I need HELP.

Thank you for that help but I'm still stuck. I've gotten up to getting ad written and the picture is taken care of. I have the information in the 'pending' file and haven't a clue where to go from there. They have templetes and boxes all over but don't explain for those of us who are brand new here, if they are necessary or how to deal with them or how they effect the final out come. Scrolling down to the bottom of the page with the templates there was a box marked 'launch' which i hit and as far as I can tell nothing happened. In trying one of the templates I was knocked off the air and when I got back all the information I had typed in was not there so I did it again and wound up with 2 auctions pending of the same thing. There is a notation that I now have 3 auctions pending...one has nothing on it...and no clear indication as to how to delete the ones I don't want. There are no clear instructions as to how to take what I have done and get this thing off the ground. There is also no explaination that I have found as to how all this gets to eBay. HELP !!!
Where do I go from here?

Go to the services forum (Auction Manager). There are Webbies over there who can answer your Webtv questions. I do know that the biggest problem is selecting categories. The pull down menus don't work for Webtv and you have to manually type in the category number unless something has changed recently.

The light at the end of the tunnel will turn out to be an oncoming train.

I used to use AW, but now I am at BayPal. Here are some suggestions: You don't need templates, you are better off without them. The pics at AW are small enough and they make them even smaller if you use templates. Next, if you have multi-launches use them to your advantage. Go in and revise them to another date later on in the week. Change the pics (the URL numbers) to another listing, change the title and category and then you have another one ready to go.

Thanks sparkz....I went to the 'manager' and found no place to latch one a 'webbie' to help with the problem and here I sit with an auction ready to go and no clear next step to get it off the ground. The site I find is seriously flawed as far as taking an 'auction baby' and leading them through all the necessary steps with clear, by the numbers instructions to get to the end. The most help I have gotten is from you and another really nice person who set me straight on templates...for which I thank him/her. How do I take the 'auction pending' and make it an active auction on eBay?

I have another question you might have an answer to....on the profiles, the last line...on the ones I read...say to 'ignore messages from' who ever is the subject of the profile. What does that mean?

In any event....after discovering this board, I have spent several hours reading what everybody has to say and have become very much more educated on this whole subject and am becoming familiar with the names and the people who participate....what a nice helpful bunch of people you all are.
