Hi everyone. I haven't posted forever so I thought it would be fun to hear what everyone has been finding lately. My sister and I went to an auction this past Saturday and picked up 12 cup and saucer sets of the Cambridge Rose Point pattern for $12.50 each set. At the time we thought we were taking a risk, but when we got home we were delighted to see that a single cup and saucer sells in the $30-$40 range. That's a nice $330 potentional profit. Also, recently I picked up a box of "junk" from an auction for $2. In the lot there was an old 1915 brochure from Mt. Rainer in Washington state. Put that puppy on Ebay and it fetched $78. And probably our best recent find was a 95 piece set of the Noritake Primastone. We picked it up for $95, which at the time we thought was a little high, but we love to take risks. Well it ended up selling for $408. Another nice profit of $313. These are the stories that make Ebay fun! Hope you can all share some great stories too!

The 35mm filmstrips that I bought at an auction are bringing in good money. I broke them up into 7 lots of 40 assorted films and another 5 lots of 5 on the Disney filmstrips.
Lots 1 and 2 of the filmstrips have sold for $32.77 and $19.36 respectively. The first Disney lot sold for $18.52. The remainder of the auctions are still running.
This is the most excited I have been since I sold 8 woodworking magazines that I got in a box lot for $1 that sold for $187 back in the spring. Goodness it feels good to do the happy dance once more!
