Hoping someone could help me out with this 3 - legged table. The estate I purchased it from said it was an oak Taffy table...that's a new one on me. Any ideas or confirmations?

Thanks.

I cannot help you but it is one neat table.

go Kovel.com web site and you can do a free search for an item and it will give you the value.

you can also email a picture to twinbrooks.com and Susie Katz-Schwartz will email you back with her opinion of the item.

good luck to you

I bet it is an old taffy table. See the little borders on the edge? That is to keep the taffy/fudge from flowing off the sides. It probably pulls up at the one side so that you can scrape off the 'left-overs' and clean the top. ummmm makes me hungry for some fudge (even though I don't eat it)

Most of the candy makers I've seen use a marble or granite surface to work on. I wonder if taffy refers to something else. Dale
