My first auction as a seller just closed. I got an end-of-auction email and a request-total email. I filled in shipping in checkout. The buyer says they paid. If I look at "Items I've Sold" on my ebay, there is a "paid" link under the "Paid via eBay Payments" heading. If I follow the link I end up at what looks like the second screen of the buyer's checkout process, where they enter credit card, expiration, name, etc. with some of the items filled in. Checkout Summary shows Payment Method as "eBay Payments: Credit Card" with a link labeled "eBay Payments Order Details" which goes to the same (partially filled-in) checkout screen. I have received no email from eBay or billpoint saying payment was sent. My billpoint account said an invoice had been sent for the amount of the auction without any shipping included. I cancelled that and sent a new one with shipping included, which billpoint shows as not paid yet. Shouldn't I get some kind of email when payment is made? Do I just have to wait until payment is credited to my bank account? Any help would be appreciated!

Hi, billpoint will send an email, but they are not allways that fast.

Best bet is to just check into your account. You do not have to cancel a paid invoice,
just sent a billpoint general invoice to your bidder for the missing shipping cost.

You will be better off not using that Checkout, there are too many glitches in it.

The only good news is that ebay will give you a choice about using this or opt out.

Hope this helps.

Go to your closed auction at the top click the summary link,

a page will come up with the buyers shipping address phone number the amount they paid and how it was paid.

if it was paid through bill point with Credit card no shipping you will need to write the buyer that his payment didn't include your shipping charges they can pay by check money order or they can send you a send ebay payment by credit card billpoint will refund the fees for the second payment..

The billpoint ebay payment notice sometimes is a few hours behind in showing up ..<br />

Thanks for the info. But it's been two days since the buyer says they paid, and still no email from billpoint. The "Checkout Summary" page (that's the only summary link I see on the closed auction) shows the item price plus shipping etc. and the buyer's address. It says payment method is eBay credit card payment, but the order details link goes to that weird form page (step 2 of checkout, where step 1 is Shipping, step2 is Payment, and step 3 is Confirm). I'm wondering if the buyer stopped in the middle and eBay is very confused. I can't find any other evidence that payment was made. Would eBay customer support be helpful in a case like this?

From what you are saying it sounds like your customer hasn't paid as yet. If you go into your Billpoint account and check the Summary page it will show what invoices have been sent and which ones remain unpaid.
