Has anyone else experienced the cookie error message when using Webtv to attempt to login to write another ebay member? I can't access my ebay page write emails change anything on my auctions I can only buy and list how convenient for ebay the 2 things that make them money. I written them but received the usual noncommittal answers to try and placate me.I think that all Webtv users should complain about this we buy we sell and use site just as much as the Explorer and Netscape users. If you can't find the email address to customer support you can email I will gladly let you have it. [email protected]

While I do have some problems with my webtv and ebay, they are mainly in the area of revising a listing. There I get the "page too big" message.

Once in a while I do have a login/cookie problem but I usually try again and it goes through.

I have a P/M 972 Plus. (On it right now!)

The only thing I can suggest is unplugging the web unit for 10 minutes or so which sometimes helps. Are you having other problems? Connectivity? Disconnects? Very slow?

Had that happen recently - called webtv's "we care" department and after a while got someone who changed my connecting #.

Ebay used to promote like crazy on webtv and that was smart - a million users who like to buy and sell - but....

Ebay's tech staff looks down their nose at webtv and never bothers to check out new features to make sure they are compatible.
Often, they are not.

One of my auction newsletters noted that they think ebay has pretty much written off webtv users. Shame, they used to be 10% of my sales. Now I only see webbies every once in a while.

You know, ebay for all its bluster about growth etc. is only up about 15% in auction listings this Thanksgiving weekend over last year, but Yahoo is way up. The writing may be on the wall. And the mighty fall harder than us common folk.
