Hello everyone,

I am usually on the selling end, but this time I am one the "screwed end" I got a computer that was dead. It starts to power up SOMETIMES and then it dies, there may be something wrong with the cord, or there may be something with the comptuer.

The point is the seller is being a jerk. He is jerking me around, wants me to talk to his tech, wants to fix it, blah blah blah. My point IS, his product IS defective and I fall into "refunds on defective items" I don't want another one from him. I bought this because I have a deadline to meet typing final exams. I have to take my business elsewhere.

In the meantime, I am starting to think about filing a complaint with paypal. he is verified, do you think they'll do anything, they have this big disclaimer that they will "try" it was only 159.00. let me know. If not do I have recourse through ebay or thorugh my debit card? thanks.

I think for paypals policy to work you must agree to work with the seller who has offer to repair or replace the Item..

I'm not sure what is going on here because you don't go into great detail but how is the seller being a jerk if he is trying to help you by having you talk to his tech or by wanting to fix it? I would think if he had no contact with you at all then he would be a jerk.

What were the terms of sale? What is his feedback like? Perhaps this is a simple problem that can be remedied?

Bump

Hmmmm......I guess you don't want to answer me? That's okay, you don't have to.

Is there a history here?

Maybe you should have kept one of these?

Maybe this is one of those buyers who not only wants a million $ item for $1.00, they also want 2 or 3 kisses on their bum or it's neg city for the seller.

I wish some buyers would just stay at the mall!!

You can move a computer from one desk to the other and have problems with it, it is not a pair of shoes!!!

It seems to me the seller is trying to make all the right moves here.

JMHO

$150.00 "Techno-Marvel" PCs rarely work well...

Thanks kiara for the links to this buyer/seller's other problem threads.

Some people go through life creating nothing but problems and turmoil in their wake.

One can only hope to see the red lights first, and steer clear.

When someone comes here with a problem, especially when they are on the "screwed end" such as this buyer says, and I try to help and I ask a few questions and they just drop out of sight then I can't help but do a bit of research.

Was saweemosman planning to resell the $150.00 "Techno-Marvel" PC (thanks tomwiii) or did they already try and it didn't meet reserve so now they want to return it like the previous electronics, the 12 piece lot to gymboree and the Coach purses?

saweemosman, at least have the guts to come back here and give us your buying ID so more sellers won't be on the "screwed end".

Or perhaps you have an honest explanation. I'm willing to hear it.
