Now that c2it is "free" (at least for the time being), I'm thinking of getting on board...Am interested in what your experiences have been before I sign up. Thanks!

had 1 (count them... 1) person try to use c2it and had trouble using the website. So, they sent me PayPal instead. btw: i've closed over 200 auctions since trying c2it and i'm no longer trying them.

Just received another c2it payment today. They notified me the money had been sent, I logged into my account, and voila! The money was there!

From the messages posted on this board, seems like I am the only one not having trouble with them!

Even got my "bonus" money from them for auctions I listed through AW in September and October!

Only wish I could convince more buyers that PayPal isn't the only game in town.

Had their horrible double (AOsmell) logo on my auctions for 6 months!

All of 3 folks tried to pay via c2it -- NONE were successful!

Removed their logo...FREE wasn't worth pi##ing off me winners

I tried to sign up and it wouldn't accept me, put me in a squirrel cage of repeating screens.

If a seller has problems, image the poor buyer who just wants to pay.

And I should advertise this multinational corporation's poorly designed service in my auctions? No way!

They do not meet my dual standards of simplicity and reliability.

Nothing but problems so far. Everyone that tries to pay me can't for some reason. One person told me that their site was down thru this weekend then all problems should be resolved. We'll see.

I have used c2it since July or so. Received many many payments.
I have had every problem you can thing of. BUT the problem that accures over and over and I hate the most is the one were you have an email saying you have money, you go to get it, it shows the payment but when you try to claim it (with c2it, it is not yours until you claim it) it will not let you claim it! Then you call - they tell you to get a hold of the sender and have the sender call them, they need some question answered. This has happened 5 times to me. c2it says I have to get to the sender they do not. The first time I had already sent the item because I did not realize the money was not really mine yet. Now, I never send until I can claim it and transfer it!

Most of my winners that use c2it complain about it big time to me. I do not accept PayPal for my own reasons! So, if they want to use a credit card it is c2it for FREE or PayingFast which will cost them about $5.

The $5 referral is a joke. Not like PayPal at all! It takes them 3 weeks to get it to you and they never tell you who it was, so you can not even thank them. But I have already got $90 this month.

I personally, once you get used them and how they do things (like claiming your money first) I like using them. The money is in my bank quicker then PayPal. But at least 9 out of every 10 people that try to sign up with them complain about it.

Oh, I personally can not stand the HISTORY page. It is a total mess!

But until they charge me I will keep them. Currently, I get about $600 a month in payments and it cost me NOTHING!

Thanks, all, for sharing your experiences. Even though the "free" is VERY appealing, I think I'll wait until the problems mentioned get taken care of...The last thing I want or need is customers having difficulty paying me! Cheers!

so far so bad...

Every time I try to sign up, the system crashes. They tell me to try again later, but they don't tell you it has to be at least 24 hours later. I THOUGHT I was up and running, and someone sent me money, but I've not been able to get it. SIGH. I am going to take that money, and hope it works better in the future... I will also drop my free shipping and gift if they use my link to sign up... too unrelyable.

Here is what I don't understand. Why doesn't Citibank TRY paypal, see how it works, then DO THAT!
but do it for free

I hate them!!!!!!! Never got my promised $30 refund from my auctions that I listed with their logo's from July. How hard can it be for them to work out a usable website, I mean their just coping other sites ideas! If they can't accomplish that single task, do ya trust them with your credit card & SOCIAL SECURITY number. (what on earth do they need that for!)

I've tried to log on their site numberous times to get my listing refunds and could never succeed - called customer service- who could not solve the problem - was promised a manager would call me - Never Happened!

My first credit card in college was from Citibank and they were Aholes then, so I was expecting much and got less!

Good Bye C2it

I registered my hotmail account at C2IT, and had a world of trouble. People started to send money to my AOL account, and c2it sait I had to open an account for each email. I used the link in one of the emails they sent me, and the account opened in SECONDS, worked like a dream, so on. PERFECT!. If you have AOL, use c2it... If you don't have AOL, you are in REAL trouble.
