I've had a couple of bidders complain they couldn't use their credit-card funded accounts to pay for their items, altho I do have a Premier Account on PayPal. I've gone in the "profile" section to change this - but
didn't see it anywhere. Does PayPal NOT accept payments from actual credit cards? Or am I doing some thing wrong - or just not seeing what I've supposed to, to fix it?
I've had about 80% of my winning bidders pay with PayPal - so either a few of my bidders are doing something wrong or everyone is paying thru ATM debit type cards.
Any help here? The PayPal guy on this message board maybe?

I just checked my PayPal account and under my Profile there was a section called Selling Preferences (far right side) that has a section called "Types of Payment Accepted" (midway down list). There is an option to accept ONLY eChecks. You have to say No there.
Did you try that?
You can also send an email to [email protected] . He's real good about answering, but not sure about weekends.

Yes there is a place to accept credit cards but it is hard to find. Go to your profile and find the following heading. Then check the yes or no box.
Types of Payment accepted
Payments from Bank Accounts
Would you like to only accept bank account or PayPal balance payments from users who have a confirmed bank account added to their PayPal account?
Yes No
Note: If you choose "Yes" users without a confirmed bank account will still be able to send you credit card payments.

I did see that, and picked "no" - just to see what would happen - since it's not really specific.
One of my bidders has been a complete a*hole about things - even accusing me of lying in my payment descriptions since his credit card won't take on PayPal - altho I sent him my mailing address to MAIL a payment.
