I won multiple auctions from a seller who gladly combined and gave me a total within 30 minutes of the last auction ending. I paid with minutes of receiving the total by PayPal. Their auction states "immediate" shipment upon payment with PP. The auction ended on a Sunday and they e-mailed me a week later (on Sunday) stating that the item was being shipped on Monday. There was no note as to why shipping was delayed a week.

Let's assume I receive the 4 items in great shape and exactly as the auction stated, but it took the seller 7 days to ship when they promised "immediate" shipment if I used PP. What feedback should I leave?

Hmmm.. Tough call. It could be that after they sent you the total, they left town or something. IN this case, though you paid with PayPal, they didn't receive until the next Sunday.

Seems farfetched, I know. But still possible. Try asking them.

"immediate"

A week is a bit much, but that word can mean one thing to me, and something else to another person.

Best to ask them why the delay. If your stuff shows up and you are happy with it then you should leave a positive.

My personal view of what Pos, Neu & Neg means is:

Positive-Pleased with the transaction, and would probably buy from seller again. If they are really pleasant I put GREAT SELLER somewhere in the FB.

Neutral-The transaction was completed but left a lot to be desired (slow contact, slow shipping or bad packaging after sale questions not answered).

Negative-Was unable to solve a problem, no response, no-shipment and would avoid this seller's future auctions like the plague!

If the majority of the transaction was OK, I will leave a positive but mention "slow shipping" or "packaging could be improved".

Don't you seller's just love those negative Positives?????

Perhaps the template(?) the seller uses was written a while ago and he/she didnt think about it and ended up going on vacation? Cant hurt to ask.

I would defintely ask why the week long delay. It doesn't sound normal.

I had a delay from a seller recently and it turns out that it was due to a defective product: he wanted to make sure I was shipped a good item.

What I don't understand is why so many sellers leave their buyers to guess why there is a delay in the first place. Most people can live with something they know about beforehand.

I prefer to ship next business day whenever possible. I know not everyone can do that, but unexplained week long delays tell me that the seller doesn't care about their bidders.

I would leave positive, but note the slow shipping, i.e. too a while to get here, but otherwise fine transaction.

I would stop your cryin,a week is More then Reasonable to ship,You all need to stop taking your anger on sellers who do a more then better job.Do you cry this hard when you don't get your item in 5 days from Columbia House,The Franklin Mint or some other company? How about your rent deposit or the fact that funds dont make the bank acct.till the next day and so on I say give them a thumbs up,and get off your head trip because I wager you wouldnt do it if they where Face to Face with you.....
