Did eBay do away with the yellow New Item symbol? I check the message page but could not find anything.

I guess the "sunrise" symbol has replaced it. Maybe too many newbies were thinking the items were new as opposed to used merchandise in some cases? ebay is always 'dinking' around with stuff on the site.

The sunrise symbol used to be there to denote a newly listed item and last week ebay zapped it for some reason.

Yes, I noticed them also now. Except they aren't on the items I listed last night.

Perhaps a temporary glitch or the sunrise icon does not get added till the auction is "indexed" or placed in the eBay search engine which can take a while.
