Just saw that ebay created a new form for selling your item called "Sell Your Item 2.0"

I haven't tried it yet. Is it any good?

If I use this form to sell my items, will I still have deadbeats?

Will ebay ship the item for me and refund my listing fee if I use this form?

It is the new set of panels that you use on eBay to build your auction listing.

Rather than one long, drawn-out page that takes forever to load, the broke it up into several distinct windows (click "Continue".

Deadbeats are a universal fact of life - no matter what mechanism you use to build your listings.

If eBay ships your item, then please let us know what they charge your account

Lots more complicated. I made an attempt to use it and gave it up. I will use the old form as long as it is available. I think it will throw all the hosting companies who also allow sellers to list through them into a tailspin.

Didn't like it at all. The SYI page is too long already. Breaking it up into five separate pages makes it worse. If you make an error or decide to change the page after previewing it, you've got to scroll back and forth among several pages just to track down the error.

I use Mr. Lister now, even to list a single item.

I tried the 2.0 version, about a week ago, before finding auctionwatch. I have two problems with it. First, the format is not intuitive and doesn't allow for easy catchup. Second, once you use the system, when you got to relist that same item, it automatically takes you to the 2.0 version without the ability to backtrack to the old (good) version.

As far as slow loading, I have a fast connection, so it doesn't effect me very much, but the graphical look of 2.0 seems to me would load slower than the older (better) version therefore making the increased speed, neglidgible.

I believe the new form is not intended to help make listing on ebay any easier. Quite the contrary, it takes twice as long.

What the new 2.0 listing form does is get you to click four times instead of once. It is simply an effort to build up their stagnant page view numbers.

If it was intended to help, it would work to save time and be easy to use.
