I particularly like the quote:

Perhaps this explains why some have complained recently on this board about poor sales, while others are doing well.

Poor sales may be a result of being in a down cycle for your particular product line.
Interesting article here in BW. Says online consumer sales at 1.8% of total retail sales in 2001 should be at 5% of total sales within four years. The crossover rate from net surfing to buying is soaring. According to a survey, it takes 1-3 years for newbies to try online shopping. Half of the net users signed up within the last three years, that means many people are just beginning to shop online.
