I'm giving up on selling clothing. I gave it up for awhile, but then my Victoria's Secret load that I ordered back in FEBRUARY arrived. They kept postponing me and giving me excuses and then finally said we can send you enough to make up for your down payment so I took it (thinking I'll never see that downpayment again otherwise). Well, it's all summer items and ebay is flooded with summer items and I know I wouldn't break even. I sold very few pieces to family and friends, but still have over 100 pieces left. Should I pack it away and wait for spring to arrive or do you have some luck around Christmas time with summer items for all of those people that take vacations in winter time?

PS - the basement floor is finished! 4000 videos can now be moved out of my dining room!!!

It may be best to hold the clothes until closer to Christmas. I sell plus size clothing only and it always does very well. It does not matter what the season is.

Figure out what you need per piece then put them on for a BIN. I have no problem selling Jockey items but I don't use the auction I put them on for a BIN so that BIN includes everything I need to make a small to medium profit. Maybe you won't make a great profit but at least you will recoup your money plus some profit on each piece. I know you probably know this but you need to put the items on with your price plus S/H charges for less that what they buy them in the store for and you will no doubt sell them. Everyone is looking for a bargin. That is why I use a BIN so I don't lose. Wow! 4000 videos, you have a lot of work to do. I think I have 4,000 pieces of jewelry.

The only problem with putting a BIN on them is that with shipping I paid about $8.50 a piece, and identical items aren't even selling for that. I should have just stuck to videos - I have a customer following with videos, and when I stray from that I lose people.
The 4000 videos in my dining room aren't even including the 2000 or so that I have in the dry area of my basement
