Am I alone?
A buyer claims she paid with Bidpay, even emails me copies of 'pending' notice, then later a copy of her 'seller's page' to show me details.

There has been no notifications to me from Bidpay and she does not show up on my Bidpay seller's page.

2 emails to Bidpay have gone unanswered. (over 48 hrs now)

A phone call to buyer gives me confidence that she is on the up and up, but I still wonder.

The day before yesterday, I had a customer email that she had paid through Bidpay. When I didn't get any notification after a couple hours, I emailed her and asked her to check on it. She did not show up in my account either. She checked with her credit card company and nothing had been debited, so she sent it in again and it came through the second time with no problems. Probably a holiday volume related system glitch that didn't accept the info. Ask her to try it again. If it goes through twice, you can always refund one of the payments.




The light at the end of the tunnel will turn out to be an oncoming train.

And Lord knows, it could be that your computer or hers is acting up. We've had massive e-mail problems lately with our server, messages from friends bouncing, and, more importantly, messages to and from buyers!!! When it's good, it's very very good; when it's bad, it's horrid.

I have had so many problems with Bidpay in the last few weeks, at least 5 transactions in which the buyer said they had paid, and no confirmation from Bidpay. The buyer has sent me their confirmation, and I have sent an email to Bidpay with the buyers confirmation # and it has finally been confirmed to me. I am not sure what is happening, but I have been unhappy with Bidpay recently after using them for a couple of years with no problems.

Yes, I am having the same problem with bidpay, which for 5 yrs I have been using with no problem.
One customer said she paid, but like mentioned no comformation email came. .. I still shipped out her item, and the check arrived but never a conformation email.
Another problem I have been having is with my Japan buyers, they pay me twice with Bidpay, I asked them to withdrew one of the payments, but instead they say .......just cash it and send me the cash in my package.

This I don't feel too comfortable doing, I have done it once and all went well but I will not do it again. Now I insist that they withdrew one of the payments. This problem I'm having right now, some buyers just don't want to bother, but its better for them to cancel one payment then it is for me to send them Bidpays check payable to ME........

But personally I still like Bidpay better then Paypal. I will not use paypal anymore only Bidpay...Just my opinion!
