Anyone have experience with C2it? I understand it is similar to PAYPAL but with NO fees (even for CC payments). Makes me wonder how they run the site without taking a percent. Would appreciate some info before I cancel PAYPAL and use C2it.

They don't charge fees, but your own CC
might (it is up to you to find out). I
signed up for it a few weeks back and
added it to my auctions. Not one payment,
so far. Good luck!

I love c2it but alot of people do not use it. They ask for you ssn and people do not like that. I do get a few people who use it. What I did was downgraded my paypal acct so I cannot accept credit cards. People can use echecks and that is free for me. If they insist on a credit card they have the c2it option.

I have never checked out C2it..........but I refer my customers to.........payingfast.com..........and bidpay.com..............both of these services send money orders and there is no charge to the Seller.

Payingfast ........also does not allow any charge backs to any buyer that makes a payment through them. So the seller doesn't need to worry about not receiving there money..........Both of these services are reliable and fast to send payment out.

Just thought I would mention this since your looking for another way for your buyers to pay with an on line site.

I saw C2it and thought what a great idea... So I tried to sign up... I am pretty computer savvy, but I transposed two numbers and tat was all she wrote. I called the help line (no email access unles you are signed up) and no one could get the system to allow me a second chance to sign up. So I never did. Unless things have changed some, I'm sure their numbers will remain low.

C2it started out as a competitor to paypal but then Citibank decided to treat it as an orphan child. Some of the original managers have left and I am waiting for them to finally put it out of its misery. The number of bugs and problems are incredible. Customer service answers 24 hours a day to politely say "oh that's too bad." Some folks DO get charged because C2it hasn't figured out how to charge the card properly. (If paypal can do it, why can't they?) About 1 in 5 can't even sign up. So it's nice when it works but don't count on it and always offer other options.
