I received an email yesterday threatening to leave me neg. feedback if I didn't include something "extra" in their box for all the "troubles" that they have had "with this trasaction".
Their "trouble" was that they couldn't figure out how to use PayPal. I helped them through the prosess through 2 different emails and after it was all over, I get this cute note.
I turned them into Safe Harbor for feedback extortion, but my question is now, what happens?? I did NOT put anything extra in their box because they were the STUPID ones. What does SH do to them?? I'm figuring the fact that I turned them in will make them mad too and will probably leave me a neg just for that. But at least I can neg them back.

The moment they send you this threat, I would of canceled this deal. From the sounds of it they will not be happy no matter what you do.
What are the odds that they will find something wrong with this item? Pretty good I would think.
The other thing is that once you smell trouble with a bidder, no paypal!

I love the buyers that blame YOU for their internet illiteracy!
I had a woman email me once "CANCELL MY ORDER NOW!!! I CAN'T USE THIS BILLPAY!!!!"
I wrote back and said she could use any of the other payment methods but I never heard from her again. Luckily this was NOT an ebay sale, but one on AWshops, and at that time they didn't charge a percentage for sales anyway. Iwas kind of glad tonot have to persue it....

We run into this on occassion and my response is always the same:
"Please feel free to take the liberty to leave any feedback you deem appropriate with this transaction and we will reserve our right to exercise the same.
The response is intended to make the other party think before they act and lets them know that they will have to be responsible and accountable for their actions.
