Hi!! I'm new here and have a ton of questions (welllll, maybe not a TON!) but the main one now is what do I do to get different background colors?? If I take them from the Ebay help page, can I put them on the AW templates???

Thanks for answering

Have you gone into Templates & viewed what is there? There is a blank one that you can set up as you want. Maybe you can import colors into it.

I have to agree with tomwiii. If you must use background colors, make sure they are a light color (a lot of men are color blind), NEVER use black especially with bright font colors. Bright colors are very hard on the eyes and I'll turn away from an auction that bothers my eyes. I design my ads in Front Page and use tables. I use one consistent color that is easy on the eyes (a muted pink). Good luck.

I agree with Cheryl; I use a medium blue on a grey background. I use <b> <font size=+2><font color=blue> Makes a very easy to read TOS.

I set up my own template with netscape composer- the simplest, dorkiest html editor around- and save it as a text file. I use AW "no templat" and import the whole text file right into the auction description. Works like a charm!

If you enter the words free backgrounds in the Google search engine you will find many sites that give them away free.

Such as

Rather than a background, which can interfere with your standard ebay auction page, try teaching yourself tables.
You can add color, backgrounds, and control it a lot better inside a table.
Just thinking out loud...
