I have a seller I just started buying widget lots from. He has a great product but he lists it wrong and so it's hard to find and differential from a cheaper type that sells for less. As a seller, you hate to see this happen but in this case I'm a buyer.... Oh well, niceties got the best of me. I ordered three lots from him today and let him know that if he added just one ilittle word to his title to more accurately describe his product he could get 40% more per lot. Of course I mentioned that he had to promise to give me the old price on my reorders.

Not only did he agree, but was thankful enough for the info that he is including an extra lot in this order.

Dor the person that asked in another thread why a bidder would give valuable info to a seller.... because it's the right thing to do and because in one way or another, it will come back to you...

Neon...That's the seller side of you that helped another seller. It didn't cost a dime and it has the potential to reap great rewards for you. I have a list of buyers who have gone out of their way to give me some vauable tips that have made some good money for me. When I cross paths with anyone on that list in the future, rest assured I'll make sure their kindness is rewarded.

The light at the end of the tunnel will turn out to be an oncoming train.

Hi,

A while ago I was looking for Joy perfume. I did a search on Joy Jean Patou and found a seller who didn't have the word "perfume" in his title or in his entire description.

His picture wasn't all that great either. I had to save it out and brighten it up to see if it was what I wanted.

I put in an opener bid and won the item. After I received the perfume I took a nice picture and sent it to him to use. (His first pic was done on a scanner.) He used the one I sent in his auctions and he did get higher bids for his perfume.

Like Sparkz says, it didn't cost me a dime and I figure I helped out another eBay seller. Besides, it was fun getting just the right light on that darn foil label on the Jean Patou perfume!

It's nice when sellers help other sellers.

Great thread!

What goes around comes around, doesn't it? Sometimes it's rewarding to be nice just for the sake of it. I figure that my kindness helps a tiny bit to make the world a better place.

I have been stunned at times to see how wonderful people are here at Vendio.

When I'm looking at auctions and see any obvious errors I'll usually hit 'Ask Seller' button and point out the error. I get a lot of the same help when I'm the seller and make an obvious error in my listings. I think the ebayers tend to help each other.
