The photos of the jar with newly written stuff are now gone. That never looked like it had been buried for years with excellent looking paint on the outside of a glass jar.
I bet the jokesters rain on this parade as well.

but the second high bidder had an auction on his jar saying this is a spoof auction,you donthave to buy from the guy from arkansas for more??

Maybe you didn't read the fixed price auction. It is selling personally autographed business card bearing the as yet unseen Ghost in a Jar logo not actual ghosts. Equally strange but not the same thing.

You're right. I assumed it was the same auction. What an egomanic the guy is to sell an autographed business card of the now famous ebay auction for $5. Only 10,000 with a limit of two per user. I predict the auction will have a fame seeker or two bid on all 10,000 cards at once.

The seller selling the signed Ghost In A Jar business cards has a 100% feedback rating but the Ghost In A Wine Bottle seller has a 85% feedback rating. Those are two different sellers.
What a cottage industry selling these types of bogus auctions has become. Like all gold rushes the early prospectors made most of the money.
