I did the Ebay transaction and cleared $21. $17.50 in FEES! OUCH! but at least it was my first time and I know about this fee thing. Yes, it appears that Ebay can really sting.
On second thought, it would have been easier to open a store at Vendio.
The problem is, the traffic on Vendio stores. How do you get traffic to the site -- through Froogle. So if I put the Twilight Zone laserdisc in the store along with my books and CDs, how do people find me?
Half and Ebay have built in buyer/sellers.
Thanks all and this has been an experience.
BTW, the Twilight Zone LD is still on ebay; removed it from Yahoo.

$17.50 in fees? How did it end up being that much? What price did it close at? Is the the same one you were canceling thta yuo mentioned in a prior post?

Yes, How did it end up being so much? I have never had an unfeatured auction cost that much even when I sold some jewelry for $195.00.

I wonder if it was all that cancelling and relisting that was being done....?
I wish someone would just sit down with LiW48 and go over things. There seems to be an absence of fundamental knowledge and it could be changed in just a few minutes of one-on-one conversation.
I'd offer, actually, to do some mentoring, but I'm not even a PowerSeller - YET! Wonder if there would be a market for that -- just some basic counseling via phone - say for 60 mins to start -- then 30 mins on a weekly call for 3 more weeks - total of 2.5 hours and e-mail consulting during those 4 weeks as well - What do you think the market would bear? $50 / $75 / $100 ?
