Hi everyone,

I just have a quick question.

Is there someone here that has used the USPS to ship a package via "media" to either Canada or England? Is it possible? And if so, could you please tell me what the minimum and maximum weight limits when shipping international using this service.

I have gone to the USPS website, but it's rather confusing.

Thanks,
Phil

Use this USPS calculator page
http://ircalc.usps.gov/

You used to be able to ship "printed matter" to a foreign country, but they did away with those low rates for a single package.

Use air letter post. (Or if it's heavy and time is not a factor, surface/economy letter post.)
The max weight is 4 pounds. Over that, use parcel post.

If it's a lot of books, a heavy box full, use M-bag. You may have to look that up in the international rates booklet (publication 51).

Vinnie

USPS M Bags link:

I used it once to Canada for a bunch of heavy textbooks and the person in Canada was delighted at the speed of the delivery. Took about a week as I recall.
