Why does everyone on this board blame eBay or the Bad sellers bad buyers bad discription, or anything else they can think of. But never look at the present administration we have in Washington. Look around you. Sales are down everywhere in the country. Unemployment is the highest it has been in decades. People have lost millions in the stock market. They have lost jobs, homes, cars, and much more. The goverment has spent billions overseas but cannot come up with enough money for a good plan to cover the high cost of medical cost for our seniors. AND PEOPLE ON THIS BOARD HAVE TO ASK WHY ARE SALES ON EBAY DOWN This is just one Native Americans opinion.

Hey NA, you are so right, I don't want to hear any complaining from any working class FOOL that voted for Bush. You are all getting what you voted for. The RICH are getting RICHER, our WORKING CLASS KIDS are getting killed everyday in Iraq, and the economy SUCKS.

IF SALES ARE DOWN IT IS BECAUSE YOU ARE A CRAPPY SELLER, THAT IS JUST AS VALID REASON AS ANY OTHER POSTED HERE...

BUT SOME PEOPLE ARE INTELLIGENT ENOUGH TO KNOW THAT IT IS THE USUAL SUMMER SLUMP....

AIN'T LIFE GRAND...

A lot of people are either on vacation or saving their money for vacation. I know I am. With gasoline prices fluctuating the way they are, it's going to take more money to go anywhere. It's usually slow this time of year, but I think it's slower than usual right now.

Looks to me like twelvepole might have a ego problem. This is a quote from his-her profile. "Occupation: Hobby Seller, better than most.. "

NativeAmerican, you got that right. Oh well, I will notify the airline workers that even tho they are laid off that they should still be spending as much money. Give me a freakin break. yes, summer slumps are normal. I have been selling full time for 4 yrs and know what a summer slump is. I sell over 1000+ items a month and do quite well but I know what the difference between a summer slump and a recession. I guess all the retailers better not complain anymore either...

I agree it is because of the economy.
But,as much as I don't like the attitude of Twelvepole, he is partially right-there are sellers out there with bad attitudes (like his) that are really chasing people away.
But that is best left to other threads such as "double standards for sellers"

Native American,
do you really want to know why sales are down? Read the thread "double Standards for Sellers" Pay close attention to the slaughtered buffalo on the 2nd page.

This will give you an idea of what sellers think of the people that give them their hard earned money and why they are going to other auction sites!

The pic was removed and I'm sorry if I offended you. The animal could have just died also, it doesn't mean it was "slaughtered".

Before you really go off the deep end, please know that I have the utmost respect for all my buyers and the sellers I deal with.

You are coloring almost every seller here as a bad one and that isn't true. Can't you admit that you are taking this just a wee bit too far?
