I have been away, did I miss something? Are payment reminders automatic now? I won two auctions from the same seller on Sunday evening, mailed payment first thing Monday morning. Today, Thursday, I received payment reminders for these auctions. I didn't go through checkout because I had emailed the seller and requested and received a small break on shipping the two items together. After emailing the seller today, I went back into checkout and noticed she had changed the shipping amounts to what we had agreed upon, so I went ahead and went through checkout for both items. My question is: Did I receive these payment reminders because I didn't go through checkout for the items? The other possibility I wondered about was that the seller's payment terms are Paypal or money order only. I cannot use Paypal and therefore told her I would send a money order. Every email I received from her after that said I PREFER PAYPAL in big letters. Well I thought if you wanted to accept Paypal only you should have said that. So I wondered if sellers who take Paypal check their receipts against auctions and then automatically dun people whose Paypal payment they haven't received in three days or whatever. Sorry for the rambling but I was just kindof irritated and then it occurred to me that perhaps it was a new automatic thing.

Did she say payment in three days? Remember she only said PREFERS Paypal not REQUIRES it. She probably wants to clear out her pending and paid columns in her seller listing.

You really kind of have up to 10 days to pay without getting in any trouble from ebay. Sent the MO and forget about it.
