Hi, I just searched the help topics and FAQ but this isn't covered.

I have an auction that I am trying to print a packing slip for. The buyer paid 16.05 for the item, and $3.00 for shipping. The packing list shows only the $16.05 and not the 3.00. Ebay knows that the $3.00 was paid, because it shows on the ebay invoice I sent the buyer. Why doesn't sales manager know that the $3.00 was paid?

I'm evaluating vendio right now and so far all looks good. Except that if I have to manually go figure out if the shipping was paid for each item I might as well not use any type of sales manager.

I expect a sales manager program to 'know' everything that eBay 'knows' about a transaction, no exceptions and I expect it to all be accurate. Anything less and I have to manually check each aspect of the transaction.

Someone tell me there is a way to have sales manager automatically 'know' that the buyer has paid for shipping and automatically put it into the invoice?

Thanks,
-mark

It sounds like the address wasn't filled out for it. The shipping won't show till it is completed because there can be more than one option for shipping It has to have one selected to know what to put for the price.

If you are referring to Vendio Sales Manager, I do not think packing lists by nature show the shipping charges. It is not an oversight.

In Sales Manager main screen for the item, it should show the shipping that has been paid on the item.

If the correct shipping that was associated with the item is paid, (#3) "Paid" is checked.

If they do not pay enough to cover item and shipping, item #3 does not check as being paid, even if they paid something. Lets say item and shipping was supposed to be $23 and they only pay $22, then the payment will show as being paid in the item overview screen, but #3 Will not be checked.

I have had it happen where I was waiting on #3 to show as paid, and although they had paid, it was not the amount I was looking for. Not until I opened the item, did I notice it had a partial payment. Vendio could probably set another flag if "ANY" payment had been detected, but they have other important things they are working on.
