Sold a pair of mens slacks-buyer paid promptly-I shipped-then heard nothing. This was 2 weeks ago. Just received neutral feedback from buyer stating "Slacks are not size advertised". Buyer made no attempt to contact me about problem. Didn't ask for a refund, didn't complain to me. Buyer only has 36 fb's so maybe he didn't understand that a refund was very possible if the tag was improperly marked. What would be your next step? Ignore it and move on? Contact buyer to attempt to fix the problem? Leave a scathing feedback in return (probably not the best option)?

I've been selling for a long time and have never had this type of situation come up. My buyers always contact me if there is a problem, so I was a bit stunned at this one.

I just wonder why he didn't leave a neg. If the pants are really the wrong size how can he wear them? Why would he not want a refund?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance!!!

He is not totally satisfied with the purchase but he can live with it,so you get a neutral.

at the most send an email to ask about the feedback, and then make a decsion based on the response...

you can respond to his feedback "never heard about problem until now" or something like that.

then let him go sc**w himself....and block him as a bidder.

Definitly email him and see what his 'tude his before you decide. 36 transactions is still kind of new to ebay, maybe he didnt know he could tell you about it.

Reply to his feedback comment with something like you happily refund or exchange but never heard from buyer.

Leave it at that.

Block the bidder and respond to your neutral with the 'buyer never emailed me' stuff. At a minimum return the neutral feedback. If not, this guy will leave neutrals left and right and never know that he is suppose to at least try to work with seller on problems.

do email him and tell him that "if he had let you know of the problem before leaving feedback you would have refunded" now he is owed nothing as far as I am concerned, his punishment for leaping first.

blocking a customer who paid for his goods is like locking the door of your store when you see customer coming!!
be gracious, you get paid,so move on!!
i see some of you are not cut out to be retailer, try being a weather forcaster or lab technician.

Block him. Fool me once -- shame on you,but fool me twice -- shame on me.

No point in wasting any more time on this bidder. It's over so just move on as there is nothing one can do about the neutral feedback.

Be thankful this winner did not leave a neg. Yes, I do agree they should have asked you first before leaving feedback but since they did not there is no point in dealing with a high maintenance bidder.
