Problem started about 2-3 days ago. I can access the vendio - ebay - new listing page from my pc, but not from either of my macintosh computers. I have multiple accounts, and none work. Tried home macintosh computers and office macintosh computers, and same result. Under category selection, I see a series of dashed lines instead of category choices.
Tried all the usual remedies -- trashed cookies, preferences, cache files, etc. -- but I am convinced it is Vendio, not me.
I have written Vendio about this problem but it is too soon to receive a reply from them; I was curious as to whether other Mac users out there (are there any?) were having similar difficulties.

I have had the same problem since almost the beginning - there seems to be a problem with that interface. BYPASS IT! Just open a new window and use Ebays page directly. Much less time consuming... much fewer headaches. Once you find your catagory number then just enter it manually in the Vendio window.

I am having the same problem and I have tried different browsers. The same thing with all browsers. Any other suggestions?

Thank you for the suggestions. Yes, I can keep a second window open showing ebay's category selections page, and then enter the category numbers manually into my Vendio ebay listing. As I list in quite a few categories, this method is a bit more tedious than I would prefer, but doable. And it appears to be my only option at the moment.
Fluffy, that was a good suggestion on the browser, but I tried Netscape and IE, and neither will work. What Mac OS and browser version are you using that DOES work?

I just did a little test. The page works very well in Mac OS X (Jaguar) using Safari, the Apple browser. On the other hand, I got sudden quits trying it with Mozilla, Netscape and Camino. I won't have a M$ product on my machine so I couldn't try explorer. There's some sort of incompatibility happening, maybe Java or?? Solution, upgrade to Jaguar if you haven't yet , and if you have, start using Safari. I'd also notify Vendido about this bug.

SideNote.... when upgrading to 10X - be sure not to bypass 9 - I went thru two days of hell this week for committing that little mistake. You need to have 9 to run and in some cases install some programs.
BTW Prof - the interface isn't just buggy for Vendio. I use works to list and have the same problem.

Making web pages that work with with most browsers/operating systems isn't rocket science, nor is it very expensive. Setting up your page to favor IE is shortsighted, IMO.It behooves the operators of commercial pages to see that these issues are dealt with. Users shouldn't have to worry about it. WalMart doesn't make me guess a secret word or dance a special jig to get thru the door, there is no reason for the net to be any less transparent.
Side note...if you've just started using X, you're right about keeping 9, but as time goes by you'll need it less and less. I haven't fired up classic in months.
