I haven't been able to find reference to this rather odd book by Edgar A. Poe. It was published in 1908 (making some of the household hints obsolete I would think since poe died in the 1800's). There are capeting suggestions, a section on autography, a chapter called Eureka and more odd chapters. There is a picture of Horace Greeley in the beginning of the book. If anyone can help at least pointing me in the right direction to get info on this book, I would appreciate it!

Thanks guys! I only bought this book (for cheap, cheap, cheap) because the lady who died and left this to be sold in an estate sale was a remarkable lady. She was well into her 90's and all over her home were clues as to the kind of person she was. She was an accomplished photographer, boater and church supporter. She also was an accomplished pianist. She must have had every photograph her family ever had. I bought several of them dating from the late 19th century to the 1920's. The more I looked at her home and her belongings the more I wished I could have known her! Anyway, thought having a Poe book was rather odd for her. She had a lot of religious books (in German) and old 19th century encyclopias. Who knows? Maybe she snuck off every now and then to read a bit of Poe.
