Hello everyone!
I need some information on a Kingsley Hot Foil Embosser Model M-60. I bought this at an estate sale and have no clue what it's worth or what to list it for. It contains A large embossing machine model M-60, 3 wood cases containing 6 sets of fonts each,70 rolls of foil and many extras. I know Kingsley is not in business but you can still order parts and foil for their machines from other companys. Any info?

Isadoras - try calling your local print shop and asking them for the nameor number of a couple embossing houses in tow. Embossing and foil stamps are generally outsourced by shops and there are one or two companies in town that specialize in the processes. Those are the people that will be able to give you the best info on your find. They might even be interested in it themselves and save you some time and money. If you can, you should idenitfy the fonts and consider selling listing them as seperate entities. If they are the old letterpress style lead type those can be very soughtafter.

If it's really Common Sense, why do so few people actually have it?

I have a instruction booklet for the Kingsley, if you are interested. The foil rolls and type cases w/type will most likely generate the most interest.
