First of all, here is my auction link - closing in an hour...http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=2186154817

And here is the "question for seller" i just got in my mailbox: (I am still laughing)

Please give details of the accomodation.

max occupancy

how many such rooms are available?

surcharges ?

what days can be used ?

Days advanced required for booking ?

when can you confirm the stay if I win the bid ?

who do we contact to make stay arrangements

Neglus, when you first pop in, it does look like a 'travel' auction for a timeshare or something.

You better not tell Jack they aint reading the thing!! Cute PC!

LOL - I hate to waste space in the title of my listings to say "postcard" - but maybe I should! About 6 months ago I had another question for seller complaining that he thought he could BUY another motel for $7!!!!!!!!!

Sure would like to see Fluffy's answer to buyer on this one!

I just said, "I don't know anything about the accomodations, but you can buy the POSTCARD for $7 or didn't you READ?" and blocked the user muy pronto!

I run into the same problem with my lobby cards. I have one or two a week who thought they bought the movie.

The ad title does not have enough space to write the title of the movie and the words lobby card so I just put LC. But, the description clearly states: Lobby Card #XX from the 19XX Movie XXXXXXXX
Size 11" x 14" and a picture is shown with description for tears along edges, bent corners etc.

And, I still get them saying "Oh, I didn't want that, I thought I was buying the movie because I did a title search and your ad came up". It doesn't matter that it is listed under lobby cards and not movies

Until Ebay gives us a few more characters in the title (who's holding their breath for that one?) then I don't know what to do.

Write him back with all the particulars and maybe he will send you the money. When you bring your description up it states Moody Mommy's Postcards. How does he think you are selling hotel rooms. I hope he is not the brightest bulb in the house....

I had a similar pretzel-choker last year!

Sold a very cute pair of OSH-KOSH infant WORK BOOTS (listed in the INFANT SHOES cat) for $9.99!

Lady complained that they wouldn't fit her 40yo CONSTRUCTION WORKER HUBBY!

Can the congregation sing: "20% RE-STOCKING FEE!!??"
