The balanced canter of my two year old, his floating trot when he plays in pasture, his kind eye and his generous heart...soon to be my dream dressage horse. So buying equine things, even just browsing, too fun!
Also, pretty crazy about beads, too. I love the selection on ebay. Many nifty folks make my beadwork possible!
And taking photos of both. Browsing the photo dept, well, very heart pounding! Still looking for that one prime lens to make my minolta collection complete...we shall see!

I like to shop. And I rarely do malls. Estate sales, garage sales, thrift stores.
It is even starting to be a problem me thinks.
I say to myself, "you be buying this to sell on ebay, right?" And self says back: "yes, oh yes, of course"...but its like I want to keep it for myself. At least a little while first. Which is totally ridiculous. But I just love finding "neat junk"

Anything and everything Oriental. Mostly Chinese, though. My house is full of it. This is just the tip of the iceburg. I think soon I'll have to buy another house for me and my family! The embroidery on the wall should look familiar. I won it at auction off a Vendio member! My brother actually started me on it with one antique piece. I've been collecting ever since. New and very old.

My house is like a miniature ebay with almost all the stuff that they sell on ebay.
I love glass..... all kinds of glass. I love black pottery panthers and pink pottery flamingos. Also cats and German Shepherd dog figurines. I like real live dogs and cats also.
I like those plates done on Limoges blanks, the ones with the pretty flowers that are handpainted. The same kind that some sellers tell Roadsmith to toss.
I like almost everything but most are things that I like for awhile and then resell.
I have quite a few pieces with scars... tiny fleabites, etc. that people on ebay would reject but I have a memory of each of those pieces and how it got to me. When it comes right down to it, they would be the pieces I'd really want to keep the most in the end.
Beautiful collection, Cheryl. So orderly and neat also. Someday I want to do that with the pieces I love the most. BTW, toasted. Do you smoke?
Edited to add that I have a ton of sparkly and pretty and gaudy jewelry also and I can never buy enough of it.

OK, but on to inanimate objects....POTTERY!!! lots and lots of POTTERY!
and old FABRIC! I love FABRIC!!! Lovely old rose and flower covered FABRIC! and PERFUME BOTTLES! and for some reason OLD PAINTINGS of TREES and the FOREST...... OLD WELLER POTTERY " MUSKOTA" and "WOODCRAFT"...also any old ANIMAL thing-y ( my favorites? OWLS, SQUIRRELS, FOXES AND BIRDS...especially swallows). I LOVE COLD PAINTED BRONZES OF LITTLE ANIMALS....YARD LONG PAINTINGS OF ROSES, sweet peas, lilacs, you name it, but not Chrysanthmums.....ANYTHING WITH ROSES.....CHINA...DISHES, I ESPECIALLY LOVE DISHES!!!! Wooo...I am Passionate about STUFF!
