As Vendio does not delete photos for 90 days, and Ebay will show photos for a 30 day history of your sales; why do some Vendio users delete photos pretty much right after the auction?

I would like people to see what I have sold.

Is it because their sales volume is so high that it's unwieldy?

I know you probably didn't pay much for that; but you never know, it could be worth nothing.

This is a pretty simple one.

Two main reasons that people pull their pictures are:

1) So other losers cannot steal their pictures.

2) If they are using a pay per listing image hosting service, it costs them money when their photos are stolen or even looked at later on.

Ebay only shows completed auctions searches for 10 to 15 days now.

I leave my pictures up until I know the item has been delivered. If there is any question of the condition when shipped, I have the pictures for proof. I have had to file insurance claims with UPS and I always take them a print out of the auction, including pictures. All of my claims have been resolved within 10 days, no problems.

I have had buyers argue about condition, color and even shape of items where the picture proved my description was correct. End of problem.

In my opinion, the seller shoots themself in the foot by removing the picture too soon.

I leave my photos up for months. The buyer can check the item for up to 90 days if they enter the auction number.
I also like to help other ebayers that are researching items. If someone wants to copy the image they are more than welcome to do so as almost everything I sell is a one-of-a-kind item.

I cleaned out my ebay directory on my website- and reI found that someone had looked that auction up and found a broken image- made me feel bad- I will date my ebay directories from now on.
