Hi am a long time lurker and thanks to all of you i have not had to ask many questions but i do now. filed npb 10 days ago and buyer sent payment today. can i remove the npb and how?? thank you ahead of time.
Worked things out with the buyer? If you have filed the Final Value Fee credit, you may use the Non-Paying Bidder Warning Removal to remove the warning for the bidder. Within 90 days of your listing's close.

It was kind of uncanny because 5 minutes after I posted the link I went out to my mailbox and there was a late payment for a month old auction that I had filed a final NPB on. I reversed the NPB warning since I had not sold the item yet.

NPB means nothing except to warn ebay and the buyer that they haven't paid yet. If your buyers, you need to do nothing as it doesn't count against anything.
If you filed FVF, then you may want to consider reversing it. You will get charged the FVF fees though. If I get a payment after I have filed FVF, I never remove it. Just my preference. You will have to decide your own policy on that.
