I am dancing on air right now!
Long story short...
I had an auction end a week ago and the buyer had bad contact info. I reported it and got her NARU'd. A couple days later, she must have updated her contact info and got reinstated.
She almost immediatly gave me a negative (my first one) stating that there was no communication on my part. (well, duh)
I contacted ebay Powerseller support (first time I've really had to use them) and boy were they on the ball! They emailed me (a personal email, not the canned response) about an hour after my initial contact with them (Saturday night), and just about 10 minutes ago I received an email stating that the feedback would be removed! WHOO HOO!!
I've heard over and over that it takes an act of Congress to get these negatives removed, and that the Square Trade thing is a joke. I wasn't going to pay $20 for them to remove it, so I am VERY grateful that ebay did!
Just wanted to share that it can be done and it was actually quite painless! LOL
I'm ready to blast her now because I get to file the NPB and leave her a negative heehee!

Geez Louise Guys! Don't tell me you wouldn't do the same thing if a deadbead had left you a neg! Whatever!
I knew you would be supportive Jack! I'm a "the-feedback-system-is-screwed-up" cheerleader too. And you're right, it is a success story! She was a deadbead and a little snot to note.
I don't take deadbeads lightly, nor do I like my feedback to be screwed by some idiot who can't even get her email right.

Iffin' you bees a Power sellers, it DO have LOTS o' Power! They knows who butters their bread,,,,,We do's......Sellers pay the BILLS.....Square trade IS for suckers....Puuuuuuuush them sales and maintain that constant level,,,,when ya got a problem they WILL listen to ya.......any other route you go,,,,,,for assistance,,,,,yer talkin' to the wind.....MONEY makes thing HAPPEN! You're right about the powerseller thing, things get done when you speak. And God only knows I pay them enough money every month! Makes me weak in the knees when I get my bill! OUCH!

noh2 & stopwhining are morons. They are two of the most naysayers around. Glad to hear for once that a powerseller was in the right. Get the deadbeats canned!!! You did exactly the right thing by turning him into ebay. These people need to keep their info updated.
