I have been getting 20 or more emails each day with the virus attachment. Am I on someone's list or is that happening to other people? My computer hasn't been infected with it, it's just annoying!!!!!!

I am still getting 75+ of those annoying sobig virus emails. Everytime I check my email, there are more of them. And overnight... ugh... I have to delete 20-50 of them. Last week I had 3 days that I had to delete more than 100, just from my overnight email. But I can't find anyway to get around it... besides filtering them direct to the trash. I don't like to do that, because I like to be aware of all my incoming email.

It's from one of those porno sites, not that you have gone there because I never have and nobody that uses this computer does. I am the only one on this computer so I know I don't go there. They also almost have a Yahoo email address. Just make sure your virus is up to date and it should be okay. Also remember to do all the things that Microsoft tells you to do to protect your computer.

Here's what you do:

Download these free Antivirus and spyware softwares:

Spybot
and
Spyblaster
Adaware

You can get them (free) at download.com

Then go to pandasoftware.com and scan your PC for viruses.

Make sure your Anti-virus software is up to date.

Lastly, get rid of Internet Explorer. If you MUST have IE, download: toolbar.google.com, with the popup stopper.

I get several of the mail-daemon undeliverable emails daily and I have a pop-up blocker. It is getting annoying. Message to you a-holes spreading this around:

Get at GD life! What, were you dropped on your head as a child? Did mommy not love you enough? Go get some psychiatric help and DON'T email us in the morning! We are not idiots and we are not playing your little juvenile game. You are not even remotely cool, you are a vandal. I hope you are caught and I hope you are prosecuted. I hope you rot behind bars like the pond scum you are.

Since I switched to Verizon DSL, I haven't had a problem with popups or the annoying emails. My GF has AOL broad band & gets all kinds of junk mail.
