I am going to list this German Solar Clock and Compass but don't know what time period it is from or anything. Never saw anything like it so thought I would see what all of you have to say about it. Thanks for the help!!

Thanks!! I did a search for compass and lots of them were listed under antiques and then scientefic and medical so that is what I put it under. I would love it if anyone could tell me anything about it.

Good luck with the auction. The people that collect that type of thing should seek it out.
I have a feeling that the item is from WWI and used by the German military. I looked all over ebay and Google and could only find your auction so it's not that common an item.
