I have a buyer who purchased 4 auctions from me. I inadvertently left one item out, and she emailed me to check on it. I have been trying to email her for 2 days to let her know I will be shipping it, and the emails are bouncing. I started emailing her Tuesday, and they come back as undeliverable - and she emailed me earlier from the same email address...

How can I email her through eBay? I checked the auction page, and there is only a payment reminder option to send her, which I did try to do with a note in it, but it limits the lines in the note, so no good...

Any suggestions? I don't want a negative over this

Did you check to see if she might be an ebay seller as well as a buyer? If she has any auctions runing or an ebay store then you can contact her through the 'ask the seller' thing. If not a phone call might be in order.

Isn't there a way to click on the user name and send email to buyer through ebay? I thought you could do that? (Maybe I dreamed this tho..lol)

Thank you for your answers

I did check to see if she is also a seller, and unfortunately she is not. I have also tried to send her an email through eBay, and everytime I try, a new window pops up from Outlook Express with her email address in it.

I am going to call her, but it bugs me that I cannot figure out how to email her through eBay! I get emails all the time from "Question from eBay Member" - wonder how they do that?

One idea (if you havent left feedback on the other items) is to post positive FB on one item - praise her & ask her to contact you or state the other item is being shipped..I'll bet she reads her FB

Sellers with active listings
can receive the letters and buyers can still use that function on closed auctions. Many newbies use that function even if there is an email address or clickable email link in the auction.

Use the "Send this auction to a friend" link to send her an email through Ebay's servers. Edit out the boilerplate from the message field and enter your own message.

That sounds like a good idea. Worth a try anyway.

If you do a search on other items she has won, and click on her name, you will get the "send a question" form.

I have also tried to send her an email through eBay, and everytime I try, a new window pops up from Outlook Express with her email address in it.

That is because you are clicking on her e-mail address. Windows is over-riding ebay on that. You need to click on her ebay user id to be able to send an e-mail via ebay.

You should also check her reply to address within your e-mail. It could be different than the e-mail addy that she is sending to you with.
