I have a question about your payment plans.

If I list 1000 auctions a month and use the Flat rate power plan. My bill will be $39.95 for the plan and then an additional $100.00 for the .10 listing fee? What services does the Flat rate power plan include? What would be the cost of all your other services?

bottom line, how much will my bill be a month if I list 1000 items per month?

I just switched from the "pay as you go" plan to the "Variable Power" plan.

It looks much more cost-effective for me, not to mention that I have been paying $4.95 monthly for a Vendio store and now it is included in the VP plan...

Sales Manager: Variable Power
Monthly Fee: $29.95
Listing Fee: NONE
Final Value Fee: 1.25% of sold items only, $4.95 maximum per item
Bonus: free Bronze Store subscription (or $4.95 credit toward any other Stores plan monthly fee)!

For the Flat Rate Power Plan, the additional perks are no final value fees and free store subscription..

Your choice of plans depends on your number of monthly listings and on the average price/sale. Vendio has this clearly explained in the "My Account" section above.

I think some people might be afraid of the 1.25% FVF tacked on to the Variable Power Plan..if you do the math, you will see that that fee is neglible really. As I said in your earlier thread, I list 1000+ auctions/month with unlimited image hosting, a Vendio store, ability to pend auctions and a good post sale management program all for $29.95/month plus 1.25% on sold items. My bill only exceeds $100 if my sales are over $5,500. Paying 10cents/listing to eBay to pend my auctions alone would cost $100!!

Actually, neglus - I read your post on another thread about the plan you use, so decided to give it a try

My ebay sales are normally $35000.00 to $40000.00 per month.

I sell high tickets items.

I list about 1000 auctions per month.

so which plan would you use?

Great wgm - I don't know what plan you were using, but the listing fees KILLED me before I switched to the variable rate plan!

Also, for people with lower listing volumes, Spare Dollar packs quite a bang for the $4.95 flat rate fee...unlimited image hosting, no listing fees, no final value fees, post sale management ( a little cumbersome but workable), auction gallery..I was tempted to switch but came back after the one month trial to VD because I needed more image hosting capabilities and a little smoother post-sale management program.

I run about 800-1000 auctions a month, and the "pay as you go" was killing me in fees! I have a Vendio store, but only use it for a gallery right now.

I am in the process of opening an eBay store to help with the repeat items and free up more time (and money!) for more auctions - so don't think I will using the Vendio store anytime soon...maybe one day

After reading what you wrote about your plan, I sat down and looked at numbers...and it made more sense for me.

comic..
Sounds like the flat rate power plan is the right one..the listing fees are minor compared to the FVFs in your case..looks like you had the right one! It looks like your bill should be $139.95/month for all the VD services with the exception of the watermarking and the new image zoom thingy and custmer manager.

Comic:

With numbers that big, maybe you should look at Channeladvisor. They are $30 a month and no final value commission.

I get about 10% of my sells via an online storefront, so i need a program with a store front.

Do you mind if I ask why you do not have your own website and are depending on other services storefronts? You are going to spend much less hosting your own site and just paying for hosting fees and a designer/updater than for a storefront paying fees to the on each sale.

If it's really "common" sense, why do so few people actually have it?

I checked this out about a year ago. I believe that it was around 100-200 auctions a month that the monthly billing plans started to make sense. If your average item is less than $30 the final value fee is the best way to go. If they are over $30 I would use the fee for each listing plan.

If your monthly Vendio Fee's are getting over $60 you are best to look at one of these two plans.
