How do I get a clickable link to paypal on my auction page. I thought I had it all the time until a buyer wrote to me yesterday saying the link doesn't click. Why are things so hard when it could be so easy. You would think, there I go again, that eBay would make it easy for PayPal payments. I will be waiting for an answer as I am not going to list until I find out how to do it. Thanks in advance.

Hi libra, I know this paypal thing can be so confusing with all the changes. Sign in at paypal and go to the auction tools tab, inserting logo is the first one on the page. I believe you can do this also through your vendio (if you use it) and ebay preferences. By the way if I am assuming you use libra for your birth month, happy birthday!

Ok I think I may have found a answer to this lol cause I was having the same problem.Go to Ebay..Click MyEbay...then Click ...My Ebay Preferences..Under Seller Preferences Click ....Update payment/checkout prefences and change to paypal ....it says to the left that the pay now button only shows up at the end of the auction. I read somewhere else that there putting it in the invoice not the page now....can't find that page but I'll keep looking

I'm glad I'm not the only one having problems. Very frustrating. Here's the answer I got from EBay on it
I apologize for the confusion with the new functioning of the PayPal
logos. First you will want to log into your Vendio account and make
sure that you have it turned on that you accept PayPal. Next, you will
want to log into your eBay account and go to your My eBay and click on
Preferences. Then under the update payment/checkout preferences make
sure that neither box is checked in the PayPal preferences section.
This should resolve your issues with the auctions not listing.

The Automatic Logo Insertion preference has been changed so that it no
longer inserts PayPal logos into your US eBay listings. Instead, PayPal
will now automatically appear in the 'Payment Methods Accepted' section
of your listings.

When a listing closes, you will see a gray Pay Now button at the top of
the listing instead of the yellow Pay Now button that previously
appeared. This change also means that your listings will appear in the
PayPal-filtered searches that show potential buyers all listings that
accept PayPal!

Please Note: There will not be any changes to listings on non-US eBay
sites so we will continue to insert logos into your listings on those
sites.

In order to get the gray "PayNow" button at the end of the auction you must make sure that your Vendio preference is NOT the recommended one (global preferences) - the recommended will add the logo but no PayNow button(designed for people who do not want their buyers to go directly to PayPal ie:Vendio checkout users)

thanks niel35. I did a copy and paste to microsoft word so this can be handy. I really appreciate the trouble you went to.

Yes lattefor2 Thanks for the Happy Birthday it was appreciated. Libra is my sign but my BD is the end of September. We are supposed to be balanced but eBay has found a way to unbalance me.

Thanks neglus - will try what you suggested. Have tried everything else.

No trouble, Libra - hope we can finally get this resolved.

Frustrating as hell to me.

I hate to list and not know if they are held up because of this error that keeps coming up.
