With such nonsense why not go to the brick and mortar store?

I don't think this is indicative on how well ebay is doing, it is more like a seller who has gone insane with providing 30 times the amount of information that is necessary. How about 75 cents shipping for US addresses, foreign $2.50 or something like that? This guy may lose bids with such verbage...

Man! That is a serious load of terms. Even if I wanted that thing, I'd never bother reading all that.

The stereotypical stamp collector is a nit-picking insanely detail-oriented type. This auction confirms it. Either that or the seller must be a lawyer!

But then again, he has over 1400 feedbacks, so he must be selling stuff. I don't know anything about stamps, maybe he gets lots of nutcase bidders?

edit: Actually after rereading the entire page, it isn't that bad...
He has everything laid out and the actual TOS is not much longer than others... however I don't mind reading.
Others may get discouraged

Watch what you say he just might be one of us. He must be doing something right because with only 1300 feedbacks he is a power seller.

Watch what you say he just might be one of us

What is that supposed to mean?

Considering you are really not supposed to be discussing ANY seller or bidder...

And notice how very short his descriptions are...just one sentence for the most part.

I didn't know Ebay wasn't well but if it isn't, I am sure this type of listing has nothing to do with it! Consider the phallic carrot..the ghost in a jar..the jock socks...the Rolex watch/diamond ring debacle..the bogus Beanie Babies...

A seller who might be a little verbose (albeit thourough) in his/her TOS is NOT a bad seller, his feedback indicates his merchandise is good and delivery is prompt and well packaged. Seems to me this is a seller who helps make eBay work!

Put as much or as little as you like. Buyers don't (or can't) read anyway.
